Healthy Air 500 (HA500) Air Purifier

Overview

The Healthy Air 500 (HA500) is a freestanding air purifier for rooms of about 30–80 m², such as bedrooms, living rooms, offices, classrooms and clinic waiting areas. It pairs HEPA 13 filtration, which captures fine particles including PM2.5, with Healthy Air Technology’s patented DNO catalyst, designed to break down selected gases, odours and biological contaminants at its surface. In independent Intertek testing to ANSI/AHAM AC-1-2020, the HA500 achieved a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 509 m³/h for PM2.5 at speed 5. A PM2.5 laser sensor and colour-coded LED display show air quality in real time, and the fan adjusts automatically. The unit weighs 10.8 kg, uses up to 45 W and runs below 63 dB(A). For larger shared spaces of 80–120 m², the HA800 is the better fit.

• Plug-and-Play: Requires only a power source and adequate clearance around the unit for airflow. It does not require integration with existing ventilation or heating systems.

Test evidence

In laboratory testing, one HA500 sample run for 60 minutes in a 30 m³ chamber at maximum fan speed, with the anion function on, reduced Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus albus by more than 99.99%. Separate tests on the H1N1 virus indicator and human coronavirus 229E each reported more than 99.99% within 60 minutes, and TVOC was reduced by 99.3% in 60 minutes. Intertek CADR testing (ANSI/AHAM AC-1-2020, speed 5) reported smoke 516 m³/h, dust 502 m³/h, pollen 542 m³/h and PM2.5 509 m³/h. Operation and placement

Place the unit where air can circulate freely around the intake and outlet. Avoid positioning it flush against walls, curtains or soft furnishings. For best automatic performance, keep the sensor area unobstructed.
